November 2026 Update: Specialist Lifting, Distillery Moves and Mobile Home Transport
November has been a steady month of varied projects across the South West, with our team supporting everything from engineering moves to mobile home transport. As always, every lift was completed safely and efficiently, using the right crane or Hiab for the job.
Working with Nick Sampson Mechanical Engineering
This month, we teamed up with Nick Sampson, Mechanical Engineering, to help relocate several distillery tanks. These vessels aren’t just heavy; they’re awkwardly shaped, tall, and often positioned in tight areas.
Our all-terrain crane fleet enabled us to handle the lifts with precision, coordinating closely with their engineering team to ensure a smooth installation.

Supporting Mobile Home Moves Across the Region
Mobile home transport has continued to be a regular part of our work. These units often require careful planning, as access is normally tight and the homes themselves need careful handling to avoid twist or flex.
Our Hiab operators used the lorry loaders to collect, transport and position homes safely on new plots. With many parks preparing for winter occupancy changes, it’s been a busy period.

On Construction Sites Throughout the South West
From new-build housing to commercial refurbishments, our cranes have been on a number of construction sites this month. Typical lifts included:
- Roof trusses
- Steel beams
- Plant and materials
- Temporary infrastructure
Our CPA Contract Lift service remains popular with builders seeking a fully managed lift plan with qualified operators and appointed persons.
