A Busy Month of Lifts and Local Events – September 2025 Update

September proved to be another eventful month for the team at KAS Crane and Hiab Hire, with a mixture of challenging jobs, last-minute calls, and local community events.

A Tank Lift at Short Notice

One of the standout moments of the month was a last-minute call to lift a tank from a lorry and place it in situ. Thanks to our experienced operators and modern fleet, we were able to respond quickly and safely complete the lift. Barnstaple Carnival – Weather Stops Play

As many of you know, KAS is always proud to support Barnstaple Carnival. Every year, we put in the effort to polish up one of our lorries and cranes ready for the procession. Sadly, this year the weather had other ideas. After a full day of preparation, the event was called off at the last minute due to heavy rain and unsafe conditions. It was a disappointment for everyone involved, but we look forward to supporting the carnival again in future years.

Looking Ahead

Although September kept us busy, we didn’t manage to capture as many photos as usual. From October, we’ll be bringing back our popular “Staff Start Picture of the Week”, helping us share more behind-the-scenes updates from our lifts across the South West.
